Additional costs, fees to be paid by the institutions:

For the performance of road transport without a license, in accordance with Article 92a (1) of the Road Transport Act, Annex 3, para. No. Point 1.1, a fine of PLN 12 000.00 is imminent.

Below you will find the most important information about the conditions that must be met in order to obtain a license or permit.

(A) An entrepreneur applying for a license, understood as a natural person pursuing an individual activity, must provide a certificate of no criminal record.
(B) In order to be authorized to engage in the occupation of road transport operator, an entrepreneur must hold or employ a person holding a certificate of professional competence who is to manage transport operations on a permanent basis.
(C) Another condition for obtaining a permit is good financial standing, which means that a deposit of EUR 9,000 is required for the first motor vehicle and EUR 5,000 for each other vehicle.
(D) It is obligatory to have a center of activity (location) according to the law, which may be a place equipped with appropriate technical equipment and devices to carry out transport activities in an organized and continuous manner, consisting of at least one of the following elements: parking lot, loading, place of unloading or coupling, place of maintenance or repair of vehicles.
(E) Once the authorization has been granted and, if an application for an authorization and a Community license has been submitted, the application must be accompanied by a list of the vehicles to be used.
